Baby not interested in bottle

Hiya, any advice appreciated.
I am going back to work for 2 days a week at beggining of April. So I have been implementing a (very loose) routine so that my DP can follow it when I'm not there. Dp will be looking after DD.
So far DD2 has been fed on fully breastfed on demand, all night sometimes, whenever really. She is 7 months and I am also giving her solids now,; breakfast, lunch and dinner. She has milk, well all night on and off, 2.30-3pm after nap and then at 7pm before bed. I have tried to give her bottle for 2.30pm feed but she is not so interested. This is so DP can feed her when I'm not there. I am concerned that she will not take a bottle. If not then do you think she will be alright just with morning, evening, night feeding only. Will it be enough milk? Anyone know?? Thanks!

Hi, I would have thought that would be enough milk for her age when you are doing foods also. You might find she wants more solids during the day but that is natural and part of the weaning process anyway. Its good also to have the bottle out most of the time anyway, eg on the high chair when shes eating, mixed in with the toys when she's playing (clean obviously) so that she may try it and so that you can pretend to use it to (sounds silly but it works!)

Good luck
