EBF baby with solid poo??

My nearly 6 month old is exclusively breastfed and today passed poo which was the consistensy of maybe peanut butter...a hard paste I'd say which is very different to her usual "normal" breastfed poo. She was straining to go earlier, but she is not in pain. Worried about this as she hasn't had solids yet, although she did suck at some pear the other day and got home in her mouth but spat it out again so I didn't think any whent it (we are goign to start blw soon). Could this make a difference?

She did have a high temp yesterday, calpol sorted it out. Could it be the calpol??
She is starting to teeth I think.

help!

My 5 month DD does poos like that. She has done for a wee while now and she is ebf.

I though it was normal and it was just the natural progression of baby poo? I prefer thicker poos to runny I must admit! Less nappy disasters!

my dd poed like this from the very beginning. wouldn't worry.

My ds2 is the same but he only goes every 4-9 days so I guess it's just been in the gut for a while. He's 21 weeks.

Was it calpol or calprofen (ibuprofen)? Ibuprofen seems to bung mine up for some reason.

thanks for the replies.

It was calpol.

hmm...normally her poos are quite runny and this was a formed solid poo like the ones my 2yr old does, hence was a bit worried. She seems fine anyway. Good to know that it's not unsual!
