Another formula prep Q - ok to prep the night before?

My carton of formula says it's ok to prep formula 24 hrs in advance, but I wanted to double check with you all whether this is acceptable.

DD is starting creche full time on Monday, and I thought to make things easier for the first couple of busy days I'd prepare it the night before instead of worrying about the water being at 70degrees etc while getting a million things ready for my first day back at work Sad.

So does this sound right? Boil 1 litre of water, wait 20 mins, mix in powder, put in fridge immediately and bring to creche in the morning in chilled bag?

(Sorry about the novice question, have been using cartons and really missing the ease of just breast feeding!)

Thanks!

I usually cool quickly in cold water and then change the water a couple of times. It cools down within 10 minutes, until take more than an hour in the fridge.

He is 9 months has 3 bottles per day I make them each evening.
