Why does he cry during a feed?

My 9 week DS was born v small and had pyloric stenosis and was in hospital for a week so he's always trying to catch up. He's a great feeder, though, and always has been.

When we FF him now, he guzzles away and when we stop to wind him mid way through, he starts crying and getting upset.

What I can't tell is if he's upset/crying because he hates the bottle taken away or if there's another reason - like pain or acid etc?

Hi littlehouseontheprairie, my son had acid reflux and we had to stop after every ounce of milk to wind him. He did not like that and screamed his head off! The health visitor warned us that he would get angry when we stopped.

Hi aprilcol - thanks - what were his other symptoms?
