Help really full uncomfortable breasts!

Is this engorgement? DS is 11 weeks and has stopped feeding as frequently but my boobs don't yet seem to have caught on to this. I know I can express to make things more comfortable but I'm worried it won't help in the long term as my supply will just stay the same.

Will it settle down on its own somehow? How long does that normally take?

Thanks

your body will adjust on its own but day-um I remember how painful engorgement was. Can you nip off for a bath and but nice warm flannels on your norks and express a little bit out to take the edge off?

yes, it will settle down. just expressing to take the edge off or cooling the breasts help a lot. it usually takes a couple of days to adjust, either way.

Years ago the advice was to use warm flannels to ease the milk off.

I can remember the feeling and it will get better.

Thank you. Owwwwwwwwwwww! I just had to wake DS up to feed as it was getting so painful. Will try and have a bath later.
