Sore nipplets after feeds!

Since the start of this week my nipplets have been sore (not painful as such) after feeds. as if they are dry?

must add that dd has thrush again, so maybe this is the reason, but could it be the only reason? her latch is good.

I don't know whether thrush can cause dry sore nipples or not, but I do think that if your dd is being treated for thrush then you need to be too. Otherwise you'll keep passing it back and forth. There is a helpful leaflet here.

Do you use the Lansinoh cream in a purple tube? I always use it when I have sore nipples and I think it really helps them heal.

Yeah I have Lansinoh, don't use it as much as i should though.

Also think i should change breast pads more, im so forgetful at the moment!

im using daktarin for DD and the cream for me. might take a trip to docs and get a fluconazole tablet to blast it, and still keep applying. it just keeps returning :(
