One side producing more than the other -help!

One breast is now bigger and producing more milk (I can tell when I am expressing -100ml on 'good' side, 50ml on other side) than the other. I think this is because I started off slightly favouring it as cracked nipple on 'small' side. DD3 is now 8 weeks old and although I am trying to use each breast alternately for feeding and expressing, the difference is getting more marked. I have tried pumping on the small breast even when no more milk is coming but i am not sure how long I have to do this to make a difference.

I always produce lots of milk in general, in fact am prone to mastitis so when bigger breast is engorged, I really need to empty it, so I don't think I can use this one less (if that makes any sense)

All advice welcome.

Just keep feeding on each side altertivley and your boobs will adjust.

My right side still produces more (and is bigger!) and ds is 6 months Grin I start every feed on the left side now, and they have evened up a bit.

Likewise, and DS is 9 months old. Oddly enough, my good boob is the smaller one when not BF.

Just feed on alternate sides, and it all evens out. I always find when I hand express to mix with the babyrice for DS2 that I always get loads from the right breast, left not so easy.
