When did you cut out the bedtime feed?

I already have. DS now has two bottles at 11 months. He's drinking water from a beaker and will transfer his milk into those when he reaches the magic one year before you pick me up on that!!

Also DS's cousin is 7 months, and only has two bottles of 9 oz a day. Has been loosing weight. Would you say anything about it.

Muddled message, I know. But I thought it would be a good idea to cut out the night time feed ASAP to avoid problems later, no?

Do you mean cut out milk at bedtime, or later on at night.

DS is 3.7 and still has milk before bed. Dont see at as a problem.

Milk at bedtime. No more night feeds thank goodness.

DD is 3.5 and has a beaker of milk at bedtime while she listens to her story. Then we clean teeth after.

My friend's dd still has a cup of warm milk every night at bedtime - she's just started university .

Ds1 is 6 yrs, ds2 is 4 and ds3 is 2 and they all have milk before bed.

as long as he's still getting a pint a day it doesn't really matter

Jess is 14 months and has 7oz before nap, 8oz before bed and 4oz if she wakes in the night - prefer her to drink milk than anything else.

Ok then it looks as though I'm a cruel mummy! I offer him water, but he usually refuses it. Never had milk before bed as a child that I remember. Just noted on tv progs that kids would play up, refuse their milk and then beg for it after. He does get a pint (250 in each bottle then 100 mls on cereal, plus yoghurts) so its fine.

tbh as long as he is getting the right amount of milk, its down to you when he has it.
