Too late for colief?

Hi - have posted numerous times about dd2's digestion! She has always struggled with wind (the bottom kind!) and it is still preventing her from sleeping well at night 9she is 18 wks). i am pretty sure its her tummy struggling to digest her milk (ebf) and although things are better than before, she is still uncomfortable.

I haven't tried colief because its is expensive and looks like a right faff if bf but am now thinking it might help as its clear her system is still immature.

do you think its worth it at 18 weeks or should i just hang on in the hope she grows out of it soon?

any other advice welcome,

Nope, but I'm hoping someone else does as I'm interested too. DD (7 weeks) is now getting woken up by painful wind so I feel I need to do something. Thinking I may need to cut down on dairy.

japhrimel - I thought it might be dairy too and cut right down - didn't seem to make too much difference. If its a slight lactose intolerance, then cutting down on diary won't make any difference as there will still be lactose in breastmilk (I think??!! - someone else might know more than me!)

have bought some so going to give it a go (it is as i thought, a right faff though!)
