sterilising bottles

Just a quick query about when to stop sterilising bottles. DD is nearly 7 months and now fully FF. Started BLW at 6 months. I managed to melt the steam steriliser in the microwave this evening Hmm and was thinking about whether to bother buying another one. I read some old threads on this topic and the posts were of mixed views. Some people said that not sterilising is good because it is not healthy to be too clean, and therefore this will help boost immunity. And that in hospital neonatal units they don't sterilise! Just wondered if there are any more up to date recommendations for this. TIA

Dish washer or just hot soapy water is absolutely fine. If she's anything like mine she's eating off the floor by now anyway Grin

at 7 months they def don't need sterilising!
