Breastfeeding and teething

Hi there is such brilliant advice on here I've never had to post til now!
My 4.5 month old DD is teething and has been on and off since about 2 months old, although this week I wonder if the tooths about to come as she has been really grumpy. She is EBF and rather than go on nursing strike, my little milk monster has been feeding a bit more frequently.

However in the last week I have got really sore nipples when she feeds. I don't feel her biting me, but wondered if it's possible she's changed her latch in some way? She still opens her mouth wide but it has started to feel quite sore when she's attached.

She is at the " distracted by everything" stage and does seem to bob on and off a lot but this hasn't caused me pain before.

Any suggestions before my nipples drop off?!

Couldn't be thrush could it?

Don't think so, had that when she was 3 weeks old and it felt different. No White stuff in her mouth either.
Its reminded me that I have some lahnisol though, so I'll slap some on.
