Reflux and Formula Feeding

Hi All, my daughter is now 5 months old and up until 2 months ago she was suffering badly with reflux, until we discovered anti reflux stage 1 by Aptamil, in Geneva. Does anyone know where we can buy it in the UK or if not why they don't sell it here!? It's been a godsend for our daughter and of course us, as we now get sleep!! Seeing her in distress and not being able to help was horrendous but our health visitor and doctor didn't even know they existed. I know they can't promote the use of or recommend any formulas but if only we had been aware this type existed it would of saved us all alot of pain, as the Gaviscon route wasn't really effective and I hated giving her meds so young.

Not something we sell over here. My daughter (also 5 mths) has had reflux since 6 days old, she is on a prescription milk for dairy intolerance and has ranitidine syrup to combat the actual reflux. Would love an anti reflux milk!

they do a colic and constipation "blend" that is available in the UK. Suspect it might be the same thing just renamed. It makes up thicker than the normal mix. Might be worth investigating.

Could it be the 'comfort' formula? I think that's slightly thicker and meant to be good for colicky type babies, probably just different name over here?

Thanks ladies, I'm investigating the comfort brand to see if it's the same. There is a German website which sells anti-reflux half the price of Switzerland so I'm looking into that also at £10 a box!
