My 8 month old is refusing to breastfeed

Any suggestions for solving this?
Calpol in case he has a sore throat?

EldonAve have a read of this, particularly the bit on Nursing Strikes. The only other thing I can suggest is calling one of the helplines, do you have their numbers?

EldonAve · 25/01/2011 19:18

thanks, I'd looked at kellymom but lost heart at the point where one writer decribed how she prayed for her baby to nurse!

might try a helpline or the GP tomorrow

Eldon I'd give one of the helplines a call this evening. The NCT one is open till 10pm, 0300 330 0771.

Unless you are extremely lucky, your GP probably won't have a clue when it comes to Bfing.
