anyone experiencing this?

MY DD is nearly 7 months old and i am still BF. For the past couple of months i have been feeling sick in the morning and have really bad period pains - i keep going to the toilet expecting them to be here butothing. I am exhausted too, probably due to having a toddler and baby but i can't stay awake in the evening. do you think it's my period trying to come back? i have done 2 pregnancy tests over 2 months and they came back negative...which is no surprise really as we have only mucked around...has anyone else experienced this and did their period come back while still breastfeeding?

My period came back around 7 months but not with much pain. I would go to the doctors

Sonia I recently did a pregnancy test because I was feeling sick alot and was so so tired. My DD is 9 months old and breastfed. The test was negative. I have just got my first proper period this week . Not sure if its all linked, but I was feeling sick all of the time. Have not really had period pains though. If it continues I'd see your GP.

Thanks! i have always had low iron levels but have been trying to eat healthy and red meat! so that could explain the tiredness so i will go to the docs if it continues. but from what you have both said it looks like my period is on it's way. :(
