Hilariously huge boobs at work today

I haven't gone to work for a while as ds had an op two weeks ago. First morning back today... Since he's been poorly he has reverted to feeding every 2-3 hours (he's 13 months), so my supply has really increased again. Stupidly, I went to work without thinking of this and I was in agony and hand expressing just didn't do much! I swear my boobs were two foot in front of me as I sat at desk. Pmsl. Just thought I'd share that.

Sarah Beeny was on Breakfast telly this am. Her norks are STILL humongous

Have got the joy of goin back to work to come, but four months on am still bashing my norks against cupboard doors and stuff. Then I look round to see if anyone has noticed. pmsl if no-one has. act nonchalant otherwise.

Hope your ds recovering well.

dinny · 07/10/2005 19:43

God, Pruni, you should see the men where I work. Total dorks, with a couple of exceptions. God, implants must be a nightmare, so unwieldy!

pmsl, Lummox. I normally have a very scant bosom. Have got used to big ones over the last year but forgot how huge they are when engorged. Hilarious!

Dinny, PMSL at the accurate description of the men at work

How is DS? Did he have a mammoth feed when you got home?

Yes, could've guessed

Sympathetic LOL at "lumpen" - hope you're more comfortable now!

Miaou · 07/10/2005 19:50

ouch - was going to say, been there done that, but actually it's am there, doing that

Very nice to have a cleavage though for once in my life!

dinny · 07/10/2005 19:55

apart from the fact I like them for feeding ds so well I really really do not like having big boobs. They are so matronly.

dinny · 07/10/2005 19:56

though he's so into bfing atm they may be here for a while yet.

OP posts:
lummox · 07/10/2005 20:01

breastfeeding norks are the volvos of the bosom world.

Miaou · 07/10/2005 20:02

Ah well dinny, I have gone from an A cup to a B cup (), so hardly qualify for "big boobs!"

However dd2 leaned against me for a cuddle this evening and I nearly hit the ceiling. She has taken to cuddling me round the tummy because "mummy's boobies hurt"

dinny · 07/10/2005 20:03

trying to process that, Lummox - is it a good thing?

OP posts:
lummox · 07/10/2005 20:07

Just different I think. Something faintly Joyce Grenfell about them too.

Really shouldn't have had that second galss of wine, perhaps.

lummox · 07/10/2005 20:07

or indeed that second glass.

ahem.

dinny · 07/10/2005 20:11

pmsl. just wonder if they will ever go back to normal. can't imagine not have huge veiny melons

OP posts:
lummox · 07/10/2005 20:13

Huge veiny melons sound like something out of Viz.

Victoria Delons and her Huge Veiny Melons.

Or something.

Maybe.

lummox · 07/10/2005 20:14

Not sure will miss mine tbh, but ds only four months so there's a way to go yet I guess.

dinny · 07/10/2005 20:15

excellent, Lummox. definitely has a certain ring...

I always feel kind of jealous of ladies who have wee boobs before and then get huge ones while bf... I'm an uncomfortable E/F cup normally (a J at the moment ) and would really like to have smaller ones.

Having said that - they look great when engorged at the moment! So firm and 'up'! Definately comedy though!

PMSL at the word 'norks'!

dinny · 07/10/2005 20:31

blimey, Suzi2! my best friend is v well-endowed and has always moaned about how she can never waer anything but v or plunge necks and how her bust means she has a much bigger dress size on top than bottom.

OP posts:
suzi2 · 07/10/2005 20:35

yep dinny. Got myself very depressed today when I read the sizing guides at Next... I'm a size 24 top, 18-20 waist (35") and a size 12 hips.

But I really don't look that weird... and get into a 14-16 most of the time. Must be stretchy up top though. About to treat myself to some of Bravissimos clothes who do 'super curvy' sizes - bigger in the bust.

Certainly won't be wearing roll nexk tops this season - I look like lolo ferrari!

dinny · 07/10/2005 20:39

but better large on top than below, hey ?

seriously, having much bigger boobs than normal (was about 34B pre-preg am currently 36D/34DD) had made me realise that the grass is not always greener.... But the upside is that men do pay more attention (but not usually the men you'd want to pay attention, iyswim!)

Sarah Beeny is pregnant agin - explains the huge norks. heard her on the radio today and after she'd gone , the presenter sida 'oh some women really suit being pregnant don't they, didn't she look fab'. Hmm - must have changed her hairdresser then, snigger
