Sleeping on front - Colic

My son has been suffering colicky symptoms for a few weeks (he is 6 weeks old now). The only way i can get him to sleep at night is on his front, he will not settle on his back at all, he just cries and pulls up his legs. I know this is frowned upon because of SIDS but.. i don't know what else to do! He is exclusively breast fed.

Any advice?

Have you tried swaddling him?

yeah he hates it, he doesn't like having his arms covered or bound at all!

does he like his side? you can get a wedge pillow thing that allows babies to sleep on side without rolling onto front.

also another mn'er suggested to me trying massage for colic, google it there are vids and guides.
