Hi, I've been prescribed diclofenac for post c section pain relief. Is this okay while breastfeeding or are there better alternatives? I forgot to check and I won't see the doctor until later.

Doesn't appear to be a concern, but check with your doc :)

I had it and breastfed after my CS, wasn't a problem for me!

I had it after both my C-sections and breastfed both times.

Diclofenac was the only thing that kept me mobile and I stopped taking the co-codamol shortly after returning from hospital.

I was prescribed it post cs and asked about bfing. Was told it was fine. Didn't take it as I didn't need it but it's a standard prescription afaik.

I was prescribed this post vaginal delivery because of tears and subsequent stitches. Should be fine bf. Congratulationd, btw!
