my dd baby is just over 2 weeks,we had some trouble with his feeding, the doctor gave him medicine for thrush and colic.it did ease it a bit,but now he is back to the high pitched screaming again.last night it was so bad,we had to feed him with the dropper from the colic medicine, and then put the dummy in,he totally refused the bottle from 7pm he had about 2 oz,then anothe 1oz at about midnight with the ropper, and now its 10am,he is still asleep and hasnt woken for a feed, any ideas.

During the day he does feed, and seems quite happy sitting in his little chair,if his mouth was sore, you would think he would scream at every feed, not sure what is going on,as i never had anything like this with my 4,but i know something is not right.

Might not be relevant, but did you get treated for thrush too?

xMrsSx · 15/01/2011 10:42

and the dropper you are using, has that been sterilised since the thrush?

lilmamma · 15/01/2011 22:31

my dd never got treated as she is bottle feeding, and yes we put the dropper in the steriliser each time it is used.

he has taken 4oz about an hour ago after an hour of screaming and getting very upset,is asleep now but not settled..
