Mumsnetter thinks bf should be done in the toilet

Really, she does.

It's because it's 'more discreet' that way. And she doesn't want to see someone with 'their baps out'.

Honestly - I am not making this up.

It's in AIBU.

Seems not to be a troll.

I know it's not mumsnetiquette to have a thread about a thread. So I'm not starting a thread. I'm just sort of alerting people.

I fed dc1 in a public toilet on a reasonably regular basis, as it was the only place available 15 years ago, where I lived if I went into town (even Mothercare didn't have the facilities then and no legislation to support me getting my baps out in public Grin). Used to HATE it and am really glad things have moved on...

I love seeing mamas feeding their dcs (try not to look too much like a bunny boiler and stare Wink) think it's a really lovely thing to see and I am impressed with their confidence!

@catinthehat - I agree with not feeding trolls. This woman is not a troll.

@ramona - why did I draw attention? I did it because she deserves a good flaming. I am not sure she will change her mind - she might do. I want her to feel the rest of the world thinks she's an idiot. Which she is. Call it natural justice.

In the Middle Ages, I'd have been first in the queue in the village square, with my bucket of rotton veg, to hurl at the people in the stocks - if they argued that bf should be done in a toilet, anyway.

:)

Would you mind posting a link, please, TT? I can't just see it.

tiktok · 13/01/2011 20:16

Search the word baps - I don't want to link.

It's one of the discussions of the day.

crikeybadger · 13/01/2011 20:32

...something about being discourteous to bf ...

it started off with a discussion about P and O cruises stance on (not)bfing in public areas of their ships.

Needless to say they incurred the wrath of mumsnetters and swiftly changed their position. Grin

she likes a bit of controversy ...ignore
