Help needed to feed comfortably and wean?

I posted on here earlier about stopping breastfeeding cold turkey today and made it to 3 pm :-( So i think I need a better stradedgy - does anyone have any advice on successful weaning? I think a 11 and half month old should be eating solids! I've been doing BLW as she has no feeding routine despite various attempts.

Secondly, seeing as weaning is going to take a while I was wondering if anyone had any advice about making feeding more comfortable. DD2 bites most feeds and claws/kneads/scratches me on my breasts, neck, arms and face while feeding. I have tried swaddeling but she hates it and is strong enough now to wriggle out of most attempts. She is actually worse feeding in a quiet enviroment - for some reason she is more likely to behave in a busy environment! And night feeds are the worse so I think its a comfort thing for her Sad I did try a week of putting her down every time she bit but got nowhere.

Thanks

Have u tried a bf necklace to distract her? Perhaps put her down everytime she scratches you, she might learn scratching = no milk
