growth spurt?

DS is 11 weeks and wondered if he might be having a growth spurt? for the past 2-3 days all he has wanted to do is feed. have been trying to make sure is def food he wants when crying and he certainly latches onn really quickly each time. he is maybe feeding every 1-2 hours which is way more than before. any advice?

Ugh, my ds is less than 8 weeks, and he does this every few days. The other days he's wonderful, but the hungry days are killing me. I take the "growth spurt" theory with a pinch of salt as it happens so often in this house - can't be a growth spurt every time, surely...?
I ended up giving ds2 a bottle of formula last night cos he'd drained me of milk, energy and patience. He had 4oz, despite having been latched on pretty constantly from 5pm til midnight! No answers, sorry, but I enpathise.
I'm thinking of trying a dummy too. Ds1 had one til he was 5 or 6 months, and it helped a lot at times

I think there is a growth spurt at about this time (although I think whenever they do think behaviour, its a growth spurt, if its a common time for it or not - babies are so small, they have a lot of growing to do!)

It will pass! Try to go with it.
