bowl movements and formula

After two weeks mixed EBM and formula (Aptimil) feeding, 5 week DS has switched over to formula full time (2 days ago). He hasn't done a poo since morning on Friday. Really don't want him to become constipated. What can I do? We've given him some cooled boiled water but no joy...is this a sign of things to come or a transition issue?

Dd did this for a while, whilst she was still mix fed. As long as its soft when it comes I wouldnt worry too much. I would probably call the HV if it continues much longer though but they will probably only tell you to try cooled boiled water and squeeze some orange juice straight from an orange and give him that.
