I thought ds had self weaned. A couple of days ago he pulled up my top, counted my boobs (first, time he has counted to 2) then promptly took dislike to them, refusing all offers and even blew a raspberry at them when offered. Sad

I know weaning is fast approaching, he's 2 1/2 so had more than his fair share, but it was the suddeness of the refusal. This morning, he has decided that milk wasn't such a bad thing afterall. He has had a cold so maybe that was it.

It all feels a bit strange and tingly now though, after 4 days of not feeding. I did try to hand express, and got the grand total of 1 mm at the bottom of a cup, the breast pump got nothing at all so why the too full sensation? Confused

I am glad to be back and planning when to wean him gradually.

He will be delighted that you have allowed him to resume. Smile

I'm back too. My ds1 agreed to stop on his birthday, but after 6 weeks, it was very obvious that he was not ready and we have resumed as well. DS2 has been keeping the milk supply going much to ds1's delight.
