baby refuses to be bottle fed! Tips pls!

My 14 week old baby refuses to be bottle fed - she will not suck on it and I've tried at least twice a day for 2 weeks.
I want to bottle feed her formula to hopefully help her sleep longer at night (she wakes once or twice during the night) and to give me independence in the day so I can leave her with husband/mum.
I can't be bothered expressing milk although I did with my first child.
We have all tried feeding her; at quite times, busy times, various feed times, distracting her with toys /older sister etc but no luck.
I've tried Avent bottles on new born and now medium flow teats and the Tomy Tippee Closer to Nature bottles, medium flow.
Any ideas are GREATLY appreciated!

Waking once or twice a night is very normal at this age and likely to continue whether she is FF or BF, sorry. But if you want to keep trying, she probably will take it in the end.

I would be trying to get someone else to try with the bottle, as she will be able to smell you and your milk, and may be waiting for her usual feed rather than a bottle.

And maybe try warming the teat in some slightly cooled, boiled, water. When you are used to a soft nipple a cold hard rubbery teat is a bit of a shock.

We have to drip the milk into our 5 month olds mouth tbh she gives a few sucks but by the time she has finished you have normally lost the will to live let alone anything else. No advice just sympathy.

I don't think there are any easy solutions. She obviously just doesn't like the feel of it. If it's any consolation formula probably wouldn't result in her sleeping longer at night. I would just keep trying every now and again. Sorry.

Formula is not guarenteed to get her through the night. Once or twice a night is great at this age especially with the 4month growth spurt she must be/due to be having.

My ds2 is 15weeks and point blank refuses to take a bottle of EBM. Going into town tomorrow to get some beakers. Hoping that might work. Worth a try for you maybe?

use a funnel and stick it in their mouth so the milk flows through.
