IS this thrush??

Got red nipples including a red ring around the base of one and really hurts when baby latches (latch is right and not a let down pain - can feel when he is on wrong as is crippling so know to alter) then nipple burns and tingles after feed. Really sore constantly.

Thing that is throwing me is people have said I would be in no doubt if thrush as it would be agononizing, this is bearable but really uncomfortable.

No, not necessarily agonising at all! I wouldn't have known I had it at all if it wasn't for ds's symptoms. My nips were itchy and pink, and one did have a kind of pink ring around the base.

It sounds a bit like the thrush I had, so get yourself checked out. And remember, your idea of bearable is someone else's agonising - you may have a high pain threshold (I think I do)!
