Breastfeeding & the mini-pill..........

DD is 8 weeks old, i started the mini-pill and am breast-feeding.

DP & i haven't DTD yet....... im too scared i will fall pregnant again so soon!

am i silly?

Are you exclusively BFing, on demand and at night? If so you'll probably not ovulate anyway (although you can't rely on this). But add in the MP and you seem very safe! If a new pregnancy MUST be avoided you could be really paranoid and use condoms too?

I started to bleed today, but i think its because i took my pill late yesterday & today??

I don't know how the MP would interfere with the anovulation that BFing causes but as far as I understand it is as reliable to take the MP while BFing as while not. I would speak to the local family planning clinic for more info.
