ds (8 months) will only feed from one boob

Basically that's it. He will only feed from my right side for less than a minute before fussing and coming off but if you switch to the other side he will stay there all day if you let him. I always offer the "bad" side first but now, he will only take it during the night when he is half asleep, otherwise he jsut wants the "good" one. He only takes 2 big feeds now, morning and night and a little feed in the afternoon, and I am starting to worry milk will dry up on the "bad" side... Is this normal? Should I let him get on with it or try to persuade him to take from both sides evenly? I am not ready to wean him and happy to carry on bf...

i bf my little girl for a year n the same hppened with me but she ended up getting sick of me giving her the bad breast so to speak that she eventually give in herself but health visitor explained that because i hadent been using the breast to feed, the milk would turn and that i had to express most of it for fresher milk to come threw i hope it helped.
