9 mo suddenly refusing bottle

My 9mo daughter is suddenly refusing to take the bottle. Argh.

She is weaning nicely and eating pretty well; she has 4 breastfeeds a day (but does not take very much milk from me) and then normally has two big bottles at 7ish and 11ish after the BFs - between 120 and 180 mls.

Teething is a possibility? She has also refused her dummy.

Started childcare recently - could this be a factor? This is where she first started refusing bottle and dummy.

Has gone on for last few days now.

Any thoughts, and if it is teething, anything I can do?

Argh. Just when you think it's all OK for a while something else weird happens.

you could try giving her milk in a sippy cup. at 9 months she should be able to handle it.

if it is teething you can put some dentanox or other on her gums to numb them. You could also give her cold teethers to chew on, or try offering her milk cold from the fridge.

HTH.

Thanks very much. God, it's a real concern.
