Does it spoil the virgin gut?

Does anyone have any links to reputable sources please?

I don't have any links but if it is a teething powder that is mainly lactose (the milk sugar in BM), I would think that it wouldn't have any effect on gut. The Boots homeopathic ones are just lactose I think but I don't know about Ashton & Parsons or any others.
