When did your periods return ?

DS2 is 10.5 months and still Bfeeding 2-3- 4 times a day. I work 3 days a week and so don't feed or express during those days so he feeds morning, evening and sometimes once during the night. He feeds as he wants on the 4 days a week I am with him. My periods have not come back yet.
I went back to work with DS1 after 7 months and fed him on the same basis but I also expressed at work as well. My periods came back when he was 7.5 months.
I don't know whether to go the Dr about my periods not returning (I am definately not pregnant) or whether it is normal.
When did yours return ?

My didn't return until I stopped feeding my DCs completely. DD was 13 months and DS was 14.
In both cases, they returned a month later.

Thanks - I wonder why its been different with both children - I expected mine to have come back by now.

Mine came back when

dd1 9 months
dd2 14 months
ds1 11 months

I breastfed them all for 20/21 months each and worked part time after dd2 was born from about 9 months and full time after ds1 from the same.

7 weeks PP with ds1 and ds2, 12 weeks PP with ds3

Six months for me.

I didn't have periods between pregnancies but if I hadn't got pregnant they would have 8.5 months and 12.5 months after DSs - DD is my last and was nearly 20 months when my periods came back.

Just enjoy it I had 5.6 perodfree years and deeply resent DH not wanting any more children and the side effect.

mine returned at 6 wks and roughly every 6 weeks now, DS is 4 months and has been exclusively bf. Seems this might be the exception though reading replies, would have liked a bit longer without them
