DS (9 wks) is bf and has that lovely bf poo that goes everywhere (read on another thread that this bit is fairly normal. Happy with that bit!) Today he has had so many pooey nappies I have lost count. It was 5 between 6 am and 10 am this morning, far more than "usual" and I've literally just changed him, put him in his bouncey chair and about 10 mins later I hear him off again..... So I suppose my question is, is this, too, normal, or could it be down to something I have eaten? At what point do I have need to take action? Other than the action of changing yet another pooey bum....?
Oh, and sorry if this sounds really stupid, I'm a first time mum and my own mum (my usual source of info!) ff all of hers....thanks :)

Xmas Grin

Sounds normal to me. Fun Xmas Grin
. But wait until he's older and only pooing once every few days - much better!

as long as he's happy and the poo is usual colour and consistency, it's normal. He's using what he needs and getting rid of the rest. For the same reason, it can be normal for a bf baby over about 6 weeks not to poo for over a week. Might all change next week!
