9 week son has a cough

I think its making his throat sore as hes being especially whingey :(
Is there anything I can give him? I have a cold and bad throat too, so im sure he probably has the same. Hes EBF btw

Have been told breast milk is very soothing on sore throats so its good to offer lots of feeds.

Calpol is from 2 mths onwards. Also you could get your bathroom really steamy and sit in there with him.

Sympathy to both of you, its not easy looking after a sick whingey baby.

He's been feeding nearly every hour. Hes okay while hes eating but then as soon as he stops he'll cough and start crying again :( poor likkle boy :(

OP please look up bronchiolitis on patient.co.uk (can't link on iPod).

A cough in a young baby is serious you need to look at his chest to see how he is breathing and keep a very close eye and don't be afraid to seek medical advice.
