8 week old EBF and period back. Is this normal?

My ds will be 8 weeks tomorrow and he's EBF - bar one bottle of formula a week ago. But I think my period might have come back today. Is this possible? I was hoping to go without for the duration of EBF :( I feel a bit cheated.

Sorry but it can be normal. My friend bf 4 and the longest she had was 6 weeks.

I had a period at 6 weeks, but none since (ds now 17 weeks) so not sure if the first one was a real period or not! I felt cheated too.

Oh dear. Well here's hoping I get another 11 weeks without!
