Mmm luxury milk. :)

Wow. Newborns just slot into your life too, it seems.

DitaVonCheese · 03/12/2010 22:29

Oh yes, they can be stashed under the desk while you work just like I always imagined before I had one Grin

I thought in terms of showing bf/bm as something normal rather than difficult/weird it was pretty good though, even if she had manage to express impressive quantities and I agree with the uptight one and don't like the thought of drinking bm (I do realise it's irrational though).

does anyone know what push chair they had in peep show? You know the one he could fold with one hand? It looked quite good!

DitaVonCheese · 03/12/2010 23:40

No, but I know someone who's got one - want me to ask? Grin

I like the fact that Jez made the human=human milk vs human=cows' milk discrepancy so simple and obvious. Although i have to admit to the fact that I don't like the taste of my own milk. Not even if I add chocolate powder.

DitaVonCheese · 03/12/2010 23:51

That's what I liked - doh, it's the obvious thing to drink, and better than cow's milk too :) even if I am squeamish about putting it in my tea myself (and blegh too sweet!).

It does amaze me when people don't believe that we only drink cow's milk because we're conditioned to think it's normal - I often ask if they'd put dog or pig milk in their tea, tends to get the point across Grin

I told someone at work who was a bit Shock at my putting ebm in the fridge that, well, there was plenty of cow's milk in there and they didn't even know what cows it had come from: they knew me perfectly well.

Hilarious - loved it and such a positive message. Not as good as previous week though:

"Would you like to cut the cord"
"Umm no would you like to do some credit rating" - tee hee he!

boogeek · 05/12/2010 08:34

The first episode was great wasn't it - she is obviously a woman who has given birth, not some young actress lying on her back while everybody shouts PUSH! Loved the milk too - though similarly astonishedby the baby lying quietly under the desk :)

DitaVonCheese · 06/12/2010 21:18

Ha yes - I'll never forget the birth scene in Father of the Bride 2 (Blush) with mum and daughter lying in neighbouring hospital beds occasionally stop their conversation to say "oooh!" for 30 seconds Hmm
