I have just, for the first time given my ds a small cup of formula. Figured i will move toward ff in the day and bf only first and last thing. make me feel a bit less tied to him, etc etc.

So here I am feeling pleased because i am not feeling guilty, and he's just thrown up all over himself! nice. It really wasn't worth the hassle was it?!

Oh nubbins :(

Only you know the answer (and the question Confused).

If FF is what you want, I know my DD will take a lot from the bottle than she needs. So maybe try smaller feeds. I'd imagine FF is very different on their stomach but there plenty on here who have switched to FF, so maybe if you're still having trouble, try a more direct question, with formula mentioned in the title to appeal to them.
