Avent Microwave steam Steriliser

Hi There,
have just dug this out for when next baby comes along.I have lost instuctions though.Does anyone know how long you microwave for?I know you put in 200ml of water but thats all!

Eight minutes on high I think (that's for the older-style one).

that's right... 8 mins at 600/700 watts.

oh, and don't forget to keep the lid closed for 2 mins after it comes out of the microwave!

My one says 4-5 mins

mines 5 mins too unless I have been doing something wrong for the last 8 months !?!

good Im glad someone elses is 5 mins thought Id been doing it wrong!Tbh I only used it a couple of times cos DS is breastfed and after having ebm a couple of times he decided he didnt like bottles!Ive never bothered sterilising spoons etc

Showing my age I think as DD1 is 9.5 now so have the older type. Bought the newer one for DS but barely used it so can't remember the time but it was definitely shorter.

think mine was 7 mins for 700 watt micro

ok got instructions here:

to steralise AVENT feeding bottles, accessories and ISIS breast pump see table A.

to steralise all other bottles and feeding items see table B.

1000-1100w - 4 mins
800-950w - 5 mins
500-750w - 7 mins

table B
850-1100w - 5 mins
500-800w - 8 mins

i havent steralised for almost a year..i am a saddo, i keep lots of instructions.
