biting 7 month old with chicken pox-help!

My 7 month old DS is in itchy stage of chicken pox and also has 3 teeth on the way at once. He has been off the breast for the last couple of days only feeding every 8 hours or so and only from one side.(he is usually very efficient and empties both sides in about 10 minutes).

The main problem is not the lack of feeding but rather the biting. I've tried saying no when he does it and have unfortunately yelped a couple of times too but all this did was make him cry. I've tried rubbing his gums with a flannel just before feeding (this worked when i was feeding his sister and she was teething) but to no avail.

My boobs are ready to explode and am starting to wonder if he has had enough of BF (I know its prob too early?) He has taken to weaning v well but have not given any solids today to try to encourage him to BF. Has now not been fed since 4am. Gave in at lunchtime and gave him some water but otherwise has had nothing.

Would appreciate any advice, thanks.
