playtex bottle systems and sterilising

hi
i've just got some playtex bottle/liners and find the lack of sterilising required very appealing! however, i don't get it. how comes the teat doesn't need sterilising each use..? and how can the liners stay sterile when just in a box??
also, it says not to hear in a mkicrowave or to mix hot liquid in the liner/bottle...so therefore how do you make up feeds as per the formula instructions - e.g when water still very hot to kill milk bacteria? ok, so i'm sleep deprived but it's all rather confusing! Can any regular users out there help me?
thanks

I have used them before, we did sterilise the teat/ring and cap and we used ready made formula.

You could use a standard bottle of mixing jug to make up the formula then pour into liner.

If your using the brown/latex teats they will need replacing every 4 weeks or so regardless of sterilising system you use as they swell and get sticky, not a problem with the clear/silicone teats.
