Hes not been gaining weight prior to this bug of mine so worrying this will affect him more. Any advice ladies thanks

From my understanding, what you eat shouldn't effect your supply but personally I would ring the GP as 5 days of a stomach upset doesn't seem normal.

Apart from that, just drink plenty and if you are concerned by your DS's weight you could ring a bfing counsellor.

Hope you feel better soon.

Op you have my sympathy. I've had a tummy bug since wednesday and it's awful, especially with a bf baby. I phoned gp today and she said not eating won't affect milk supply or quality ( in the west we generally have enough fat reserves ) but hydration is important. Just keep drinking loads. Also important to keep feeding your baby as the antibodies in your milk will help protect against infection.

Hope you feel better soon.
