Seven month old pulling nipple back to feed

I've only noticed him doing it in the last few weeks, but he's latching on, then pulling his head back and staying there for the whole feed. Any ideas why he's doing it? Do I need to correct it? And if so how? Thankyou in advance :)

Hi my dc is 7mth and sometimes doing the same, think its just their age and a bit about being nosey..my dc also comes on and off on and off sometimes trying to grab my nipple..thinks it funny..bit embarressing in company lol

oh it's annoying isn't it? ds2 and ds3 both went through a phase of doing that. i used to just move their head back, or move myself closer to them because otherwise it hurt

no answers i'm afraid tho, but mine did both stop eventually
