oversupply in one breast??

3wo DD is struggling to feed from right breast, i think due to oversupply.

she latches very half-heartedly, and pulls away quickly, getting very frustrated and working herself up into a lengthy screaming fit, which is hugely trying, and, i think, contributing towards her excessive wind. when she pulls away the milk continues to flow very strongly from right breast.

left breast has a good supply but is a bit less problematic. any advice welcomed!

I've just had the same problem. I found dd3 had more problems when she was tired so tried to fix it so she fed from the left then.

I also found expressing off a little first helped though not greatly. There doesn't seem to be a lot of suggestions though.

She is now 6 weeks and is feeding from that side fine so hopefully you'll have the same.

thanks nymphadora - she often wants both breasts, which is when the wheels come off.
glad to hear you got sorted though. fingers cross we'll be the same.
