Not sleeping after a bottle?!

We've just started giving my 4week old an occasional bottle so that I could get a little more sleep anfpd try and encourage milk supply (I'm having problems expressing enough for extra feeds). Weirdly, and contrary to e erything I've heard she takes the bottle (eventually) then just won't sleep. She settles relatively quickly after breastmilk but mpnot after formula. She didn't go down till 3am last night after a bottle feed at 10, by which time I had to BF again to get her to sleep as she was so exhausted. Anyone experience this? We used hipp organic extra hungry if it has anything to do with the brand of milk.

The formula could be upsetting her tummy - hungry bsby formula is designed to be extra hard to digest.

Won't giving a bottle decrease your milk supply, rather than encourage it?

if she is used to breastmilk, then maybe her tummy is hurting because of the formula.

You are not encouraging milk supply (it has nothing to do with how much sleep you have, or what you eat), you are actually sabotaging it!

You need to feed your baby EVERY time she asks - otherwise your milk will dry up.

4 weeks is still tiny!

Also what you express is absolutely no indication of your supply or what baby is taking.
