Breast pain - any ideas?

I don't know if this is even breastfeeding related, but as I am breastfeeding (DD 15mo) it might be. Pain started in my left breast during the night and is getting worse throughout the day. Feels bruised if I touch it, but no sign of any bruise and I didn't bash it. I don't feed from this breast (DD could never latch on) but have never had any problems with it. Any ideas what it could be?

I had a similar thing, 2 days of just feeling bruised before it turned into a blocked duct. Never actually felt the lump in the duct but definitely was. Not sure if this is possible if you haven't fed from this side. Cant see any harm in gently treating for a blocked duct just in case; mine quickly went to flu like symptoms, was horrible. Warm flannels, soak in bath and massage it etc.
