When will my boobs stop spraying everywhere?

Have been BF for 3 months now and my boobs still spray everywhere. They frequently get my DD in the eye when she pulls of the nipple during a feed, they got my DP in the face during nookie, they even got the cat a couple of times when I was slow pulling up my nursing bra... she thought she was safe over the other side of the room, not so!
Does it not stop or calm down? DP doesn't seem to mind but it definitely spoils the mood for me and I'm no friend to the environment the amount of breast pads I get through. Also surely boob-juice can't be good for DD's eyes?

Any advice for stemming the flow or will it carry on for as long as i BF? thanks.

it calms down. in my case, about four months - although it's not bad now (also 3 months), so long as the baby isn't at the boob without feeding....

It does settle down after a time. DS used to get a faceful when he was fussing at the boob. 20 months in and they are pretty much under control! (It didn't take that long, though, probably about 8 months).

Oh and don't worry about it getting into eyes - I used it to help soothe DSs conjunctivitis.
