Crying after a feed

For some reason this evening my 6 wk old DD has cried after her feed which is not a usual occurance, she has been very unsettled so not sure if it's a wind problem or what? I just find it very hard to know what is wrong on these occasions - not sure if she is just having a bad night or that she is overtired as she has not slept much during the day today. Last night's feed after her bath went without any problems and she settled down to sleep nicely.

Been to see the HV and doc today and they dont seem to think she has a reflux problem. I don't think it's colic necessary because don't babies cry pretty much during the same time each day if they have this? My DD is not like this. Can babies cry for quite some time before they do a poo, could this be it tonight as the reason for her crying after her feed??? God this is hard and my first child......

it is hard...and it gets easier promise Smile.

Was she still hungry, they have a growth spurt around then I seem to remember.

Try tiger in a tree postion (draped over arm)nthat can stop them crying often if it is a tummy thing
good luck
