I have just stopped breastfeeding ds who is 3.4 years.
I have not bf'd sice 7am Monday morning, ds stayed with my parents Monday until Tuesday evening, and I have managed not to bf since, but now my boobs are killing me and ds is still trying to pull my top up/down. He gets quite upset by it all, I distract him with a tickle, but if he is tired he just wails and wails.
I really want to stop, can someone tell me the worst has passed, and my boobs will stop hurting soon (please!). It would be so much easier to just give in!
Should I express ir just leave my boobs to calm down?

Dont express!!!! it makes your boobs think your still breast feeding so you'll keep producing milk and it wont dry up!! Might sound weird but ibuprofen and put cabbage leaves inside your bra, it works wonders!!!!!!!! I was sceptical about vegetables in the lingerie department but honestly, amazing the difference!!
