10 month old - how much milk does he need?

Currently still BF DS2 morning and night, he has about 3-4oz of formula late afternoon. Have tried giving him some at lunchtime but he's not interested. Am going to try and swap BF's for formula feeds now but not sure how much he will have.
He tucks away quite a lot of solids, usually had a weetabix or readybrek for breakfast plus 2 or 3 little yoghurts throughout the day - is this and a few gulps of formula enough?

my DS (10m) has 2 milk feeds a day, 8oz a time

then 3 meals plus snacks- he eats like a horse! Has drinks (water) throughout the day too

ThanksMCN.
Gosh, I don't think DS will ever drink that much!! I suppose I don't know how much he gets in his morning and night BFs but i'd be pretty astonished if it was 8oz a time.
Could it be he's just not keen on formula, he's not mad on water either to be honest but DS1 wasn't, he's now almost 3 and still has a cup of cows milk morning and night, just don't remember how he went from not being interested to having them Confused!

if it helps after bf for 10 months, both he and your boobs will be super efficient at feeding - so he will probably take more than you think (I bf for 6.5 months)...

Also - there are times when ds has less - I always offer 8oz and some times he will only have 6... depends on how thirsty / tired he is I guess

ds wasn't a big drinker in the day to begin with - we have now got a beaker with a straw type end (but not all the way down so need to tip still) and does drink lots more with that.... if it helps he also drinks loads from MY glass - if I give him his own open cup he blows bubbles, but mine he will drink from! Hmm kids!

Thanks, am not overly concerned at the moment as he still gets the 2 BF's, my worry is trying to replace them with formula and then him not taking enough IYSWIM?

I guess if you try to swap and he doesn't take much maybe offer it as 3 feeds rather than 2 ?

but I believe the main thing at this age is the calcium, so lots of yoghurts, cheesy sauce etc if he's not drinking much milk
