Slimming World whilst bfeeding?

Is this really advisable?? I'm huge and getting bigger. I have about 3.5 stone to shift because I have no clothes that fit and I feel massive.

How likely is it to really affect my bfeeding, DD is about 20 weeks btw.

With slimming world I'd be allowed a few extra 'healthy options' because I'm bfeeding and I would be v sensible, no crash diet.

Do you think it'd be ok?

Yes fine SW is really healthy IMO.

Excellent, I think I'll go and join this week then. I guess if I think it affects the bfeeding I can always just stop.

Tell them your breastfeeding, usually what they recommend is have more healthy extras.

I started my diet (doing tesco diets - basically 1300 a day) when DS 25 weeks and was weaning, they said fine provided baby wasn't EBF (still am mixed feeding). I have have lost stone in first month Smile so now some clothes fit but still have 2 stone to loose! Tell them you are bfing.

Healthy extras that right, not healthy options, knew it was something like that.

I am exc. bfeeding, I wonder if they will say its ok? I guess I'll go along and see. Thanks all, just wanted to check it wasn't a totally stupid idea. I want to Bfeed for ages and ages yet so don't want to risk ruining it but I can't stand being this fat any longer. I wanted to lose weight after DD1 but got pg with DD2 pretty swiftly and it never happened, now I've got two lots of pg weight to shift!

I went when DS2 was 3 months old and exc BF, it's fine, you get more healthy extras and it didn't make a difference to my milk supply, energy levels or anything, would really recommend it. They advise you have moredairy as thos healthy extras.
Lost almost 2 stone in about 4-5 months.
WW can also allow for breastfeeding in their plan I think, tho have no expreience of that one.

With Weight watchers, you get an extra 10 points a day if you are EBF, 5 if mixed feeding, which is absolutely loads as i could have 22 points without bf, so the 10 is almost 50% more a day.....
