Dropping feeds

DS is now 10.5 months and is eating 3 good meals a day plus snacks in between and is down to roughly a feed about 5am, feed at lunchtime (also mid-morning if at home with me and not with the childminder) and probably again mid afternoon.

He always used to be fed to sleep in the evenings as well but he's just started settling without this. I was just wondering what pattern everyone else got into. I always thought that it eventually got down to feeding just in the morning and evening and the evening feed was the last one to go. Does this seem like he's feeding enough at this stage? If he asks for a feed in between then he always gets one so I suppose he's just self-weaned off needing an evening feed.

i would say you are right and not worry i think. if his health anbd well being all seem fine then i guess he just doesnt need it. if you check the recommended amounts of milk and he's falling short you can also count milk on cereal and yogurts. i know what for an 18mo they need about a pint a day but not sure for 10 mo.

Thanks stinkypants - v appropriate name for our household at the moment. Of course, since posting the above, he's now down with a rotten cold, so has no appetite and is b'feeding for Britain! Typical! Thanks for replying anyway. :)
