Trying to get ebf ds (3 months) to take a bottle so that I can get out with dh for a bit. He's refusing and hv said to try him with a cup. What type should I try?

I guess at 3 months you might still want one of those with a sloping edge that he can lap from rather than the sippy cup type usually used when weaning at 6 months. Which bottles have you tried? DS only had the odd bottle of ebm before about 8 months and was never good at taking it - I'd got Avent bottles my sis had given me. I switched to the tt ctn bottles and never looked back. There are other breast flow bottles too which he may take.

The cup jandmmum suggests is called a doidy cup, (about £3.50 on line) Ds took to one within a week at 5m but we just for water, haven't relied on it for ebm (not trying to say it won't work) Doidy's are supposed to be easy to dring from for bf babies and help development of jaw or sumfink [hsmile]
